New Years Eve Makeup look!

With New Years Eve literally a day away I thought today would be the perfect day to bring you a Makeup look that is perfect for the new year festivities!
Get your glitter ready girls.....

The photos dont actually show just how glittery this look is but it really is!! I have used the Glitterball palette from MUA for the eye shadow colours and a collection 2000 glitter (I don't think this is available anymore but you can use any glitter product you have available). The False lashes I have used are from Eyelure (number 162) and the lip colour is Kiss You from Benefit, perfect for that Midnight Kiss!

Here is my video tutorial that shows you exactly how to get this look....

I hope you have an amazingly sparkly New Year!

New Years Eve Nails!

There is no better time to pack on the glitter than New Years Eve, so I have come up with a super glittery nail design for you to wear this weekend!
There is no nail art involved in this design so anyone can give this a try!

You could use any colour combination you like for this look and if you dont have any nail gems you could just cover the ring finger in glitter instead!

Here is my Tutorial video to show you how to get this look...

My Christmas day!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, mine was really nice and I feel completely spoilt!

The thing I love the most about Christmas is that I get to spend lots of time with my family, and of course the presents!

Here are a couple of my favourite gifts! I loved everything I got but these are at the top! Not only did I get spoilt with pressies I was also given money to put in my IMATS fund (ready to stock up on goodies!). I finally got a hooded scarf which I love (you may remember I wrote a post about them, well now I have one!), I have a beautiful Osprey Wallet which is gorgeous and my sister had a personalised label made for a bottle of wine, I love things like that, its very special!

All in all my Christmas day was filled with family, food and presents (all of my favourite things!), here are couple of my best pics of the day!
So that the dogs didn't feel left out they had little outfits to wear, not that they stayed on very long! We also had Christmas outfits, in the form of Christmas pyjamas! I gave them to my mum and sister as Christmas eve presents, they are so comfy and a bargain from George at asda for £8! And my grown your own snow friend is the cutest thing! Im sure you remember the grow your own magic trees you used to get? well this is the same but a now friend, you pop them in the magic water and they grow a snow coat, I actually bought this as a secret santa present but liked it so much I kept it and bought something else!

I hope you loved everything you got and that you had a lovely day!

Obsessed with Gingerbread!

My names Grace and I'm addicted to gingerbread! I have definitely become slightly obsessed with gingerbread men over the past couple of years (only at Christmas time I must add!), I saw them on an American programme and someone had huge ones all over their tree and I fell in love with them from that moment on!

So I thought I would share my obsession with you and make a little shrine to Gingerbread men on my blog!
This is a giant Gingerbread man, he was one of my advent presents, I saw him last year in a shop and never got round to buying him but my lovely mummy surprised me with him!!
I spent last Friday evening (i know, I know, what a glamorous life I lead!) building this Gingerbread house, it was a kit was already baked and you just put it together and decorate!
 Fresh out the oven!
60 gingerbread men later all decorated with smarties for buttons and iced smiles and eyes! They taste yummy too!

I love everything about Christmas and Gingerbread men make it even better! What's your favourite thing at Christmas?

Deck the halls....

....With Christmas decorations!!!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS! More than I can even describe, as far as I'm concerned Christmas officially starts on the first Thursday of November when Starbucks bring out the Red Cups, and from then on its festivities galore!

Well I popped in to pound land the other day and found these wobbly festive figures!

Cute....Oh yes they are!! For £1.00 each they are great quality and they are so adorable I couldn't resist them! I have placed them on my shelf with some fairy lights to make my room feel nice and festive, so you should spot them in my videos!
I hope you are all having fun decorating and being festive!

Winter Favourites

I'm not a huge fan of making monthly favourites videos and posts as I don't always buy many new products on a monthly basis, although I do like seeing everyone else's. So I thought I would do seasonal posts about my favourite products, so here are my Winter favourites!

There is lots of info on the products on my video but my winter favourites include

Boots Vitamin E 2 in 1 cleanser
Lush UltraBland cleanser
Soap and Glory For Daily youth
Soap and Glory Daily Smooth body butter
Lush Lemony Flutter cuticle butter
Collection 2000 Glam Crystals
Sleek Cranberry Lipstick

What are your winter faves? Let me know if there are any must haves you think I'm missing out on!

French Polish - Vamp style!

This weeks nail design is a good match for this weeks Make Up Monday.

Its also an easy cheats way to fresh looking nails! If like me your nail polish wears away at the tips but you don't have time to take it all off and start again, this is the perfect way to revive them!

I already had on a dark red base which had seen better days so I have added a gold tip and then a smaller black tip over the top. This look fits in with the vamp look that is hot right now and also gets a few more days out of your polished talons! You can of course do this design from scratch and swap the colours around too!

The Berry Collection from Sleek

I first saw a sneek preview of the Berry Collection from Sleek cosmetics on the gorgeous Em's blog and so on thursday last week I made sure there was time in my day to pop to superdrug to get my hands on it!

This collection consists of a Blusher, Khol pencil and Lipstick all for an amazing £9.99! The colours are perfectly on trends and great for all those Christmas parties!

The blusher, Fenberry, is a deep rouge which is great for a winter make up look, this is a product where a little goes a long way so be careful how much you apply to your brush! It has a mirror built in the lid so is a great handbag item!

The Mossberry Khol pencil, is a jumbo pencil, its a really nice creamy product, its goes on the skin really smoothly and builds up nicely! With it being a redish brown colour it will warm up your make up look.

The Cranberry lipstick, is amazing! I love this colour, it's a real deep blood red and is niuce and matte on the lips, I wore mine with a clear gloss added over the top for a bit of added glamour!

These are great products to have so I would suggest you rush down to superdrug and pick one up before it's too late!
