French Polish - Vamp style!

This weeks nail design is a good match for this weeks Make Up Monday.

Its also an easy cheats way to fresh looking nails! If like me your nail polish wears away at the tips but you don't have time to take it all off and start again, this is the perfect way to revive them!

I already had on a dark red base which had seen better days so I have added a gold tip and then a smaller black tip over the top. This look fits in with the vamp look that is hot right now and also gets a few more days out of your polished talons! You can of course do this design from scratch and swap the colours around too!

The Berry Collection from Sleek

I first saw a sneek preview of the Berry Collection from Sleek cosmetics on the gorgeous Em's blog and so on thursday last week I made sure there was time in my day to pop to superdrug to get my hands on it!

This collection consists of a Blusher, Khol pencil and Lipstick all for an amazing £9.99! The colours are perfectly on trends and great for all those Christmas parties!

The blusher, Fenberry, is a deep rouge which is great for a winter make up look, this is a product where a little goes a long way so be careful how much you apply to your brush! It has a mirror built in the lid so is a great handbag item!

The Mossberry Khol pencil, is a jumbo pencil, its a really nice creamy product, its goes on the skin really smoothly and builds up nicely! With it being a redish brown colour it will warm up your make up look.

The Cranberry lipstick, is amazing! I love this colour, it's a real deep blood red and is niuce and matte on the lips, I wore mine with a clear gloss added over the top for a bit of added glamour!

These are great products to have so I would suggest you rush down to superdrug and pick one up before it's too late!

Make Up Monday - Vamp it up!

This weeks Make Up Monday is a look that is a key make up trend for the festive season! Vamp is back, dark smoldering eyes and deep red lips are all the rage, add some red nails and you will be seriously glammed up and ready to turn some heads!

I got this look using the Berry Collection from Sleek cosmetics along with a few other make up bag items. This look could be toned down slightly to wear in the day or vamped up as much as you like for the evening!

To see how I got the Vamped up look take a peek at my tutorial video....

I hope you like this look.

Make Up Monday - Collection 2000 Glam Crystals

These little beauties are perfect for glitzing up your make up look over the festive season! Glam Crystals Eyeliner from Collection 2000 come in 6 different colours, they are so sparkly and are very easy to apply!
 Hustle (top) Le Freak (bottom)
This photo really doesnt show just how sparkly they are but trust me, for all those glitter lovers out there you must go to boots and buy them now!

I purchased mine in boots and at the moment they have a 2 for £5.00 offer on Collection 2000 (I didn't notice if it was everything or selected items!), so now would be the perfect time to stock up! These would also make great secret santa pressies or stocking fillers!

I already have some Make Up Monday tutorials planned for these babies!!

Fashion Friday

Seeing as the temperature seems to have plummeted in the last couple of days I feel the need to pop to the shops (any excuse!) and stock up on some winter woolies, but one thing in particular I maybe interested in is the hooded scarf!
I have seen a few in the magazines and I really want one but I am wondering if its a look I can pull off?

This one is from Boohoo and costs £15.00, obviously I will look just like the model as soon as I put it on!
I want a really chunky knit one, with fur around the hood! So my question to you is what do you think of these? And have you seen any nice ones I should check out at the weekend?

Confidence Booster - Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj may not be everyone's cup of tea but one thing is for sure she oozes confidence and isn't afraid to show off her unique style! Something we can all learn from her is to embrace your own style and be confident doing it!

Gold Art Deco nails

This weeks nail design is another quick and easy one! Its a gold Art Deco design!

I have used the Barry M Foil effect varnish in gold 230, this varnish is amazing and the base i have on is just one coat! I have used a black nail art paint for the detailing.

Take a peek at my video tutorial to see how I got this look....

Make Up Monday - Golden Eye!

This weeks Make Up Monday is using one of my current favourite products, Molten Metal in gold!

With the festive season fast approaching I thought I would create a look that will be perfect for any Christmas parties you might be going too!

For this look I have started with a Cream over the whole lid and then Navy Blue eye shadow in the socket line and then blended it inwards leaving a gap in the very middle of the lid (I have used the Monaco Palette from sleek for these two colours), then using the Molten Metal gold cream to pack on the colour to fill in the rest of the lid. Use the gold cream under the bottom lashes but keep it close to the lash line so that the blue shows as if its blended out.

To see exactly how I got this look, take a peek at my video tutorial....

Happy Make Up Monday

Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model Live

Back at the end of October I went along to Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model live! I was lucky enough to be invited as press so got VIP tickets and seats at the catwalk show!

With a 5am start it was a long day but well worth it! There were loads of stands full of make up, beauty and fashion goodies for everyone to try, a pamper area where you could be glammed up (although the que was huge!), a VIP area and the Kiss catwalk.

After having a quick wonder we went to the Kiss catwalk where we saw Amy Childs' new clothing collection, which was really nice, it was very Amy, short, tight and blingy, but all I can say is if I had a figure that could pull it off I would!! Amy Childs looked gorgeous and is even more tiny than I thought.

Next up was a Q&A with two of the judges from this years BINTM Charlie Speed and Grace Woodward, Charlie looked gorgeous and Grace was wearing something relatively normal and looked stunning too!

The grand finale was the main Catwalk show, one word WOW!!! It was one of the best catwalk shows I have ever seen. There was dancers, models, singers, amazing outfits....I honestly don't know where to start!
The contestants from this seasons BINTM all descended on the catwalk with masks on and one by one were introduced and revealed their faces, after seeing Jade its fair to say she was one million percent the right person to have won! The show was about 45 minutes long and literally took my breath away (with a little help from the dancers maybe!!)

Here are just a few of my favourite pictures you can see all the other on my Facebook page

Amy Childs' Collection

I have a short video on my channel with a tiny bit of footage from the catwalk show, the quality isn't great so apologies in advanced! But if you would like to see it take a peek here!

Did you go along this year? If so I would love to see your pictures so send over your links!

Sunday Summary!

Well it has been a couple of weeks since my last Sunday summary so I have plenty to catch you up on!
Last week I was invited to go along to Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model Live as press, The catwalk show was amazing, we got to see all the contestants from this years show including the absolutely stunning Jade as well as the gorgeous Charlie Speed and Grace Woodward. The bad thing about the day was that technology was not on my side!! My camera wouldn't focus properly so I didn't get as many good photos as I wanted, I forgot my flip camera so I tried to film a few videos on my phone which then ran out of battery! Moral of the story....be more organised next time! I will do a post this coming week with photos and what goodies we got!

Weight watchers update, over the past three weeks I've lost 1.5lbs! Personally i'm not that impressed but at least it's going in the right direction. Here's hoping this coming week will bring a bigger loss!

Over Halloween I worked at a charity event at The Big Chill bar in Bristol where we did Halloween and gory make up until the early hours! To see pictures take a look at my Happy Halloween post.

This week I have been poorly with a nasty cold which completely wiped me out! So most of the week was a write off! But I made it back to college for the end of the week to do my first big assessment for my Gothic Fantasy project and i'm so glad I did as I got two distinctions! Woop woop!
Here it is.....

I hope you have all had a good week!
