This weeks Weight Loss Wednesday is quite exciting for me as on the scales it showed that I have lost
-1 lb
Which may not seem like much but added to my total it means I have lost 70.5 lbs which is half a pound over 5 stone!!!! I can't even describe how happy I am about it!
Over the weekend I went out to celebrate my 30th and had an amazing night, not only because I was with my friends and family but because for the first time ever I felt like a million dollars! I got so many compliments which I was so appreciative of and it actually drummed into me just how much my hard work has paid off!
Now my weight loss journey is far from over, I would like to lose another 2 stone but I am realistic so will just see how I go, but when I compare these two photos I am genuinely thrilled!
Now as I did go out this weekend I did try my best to be sensible, we had a meal which I pre ordered and chose Chicken skewers for my starter and then Salmon for my main, both of which were really good, I didn't order any dessert as I assumed there would be cake and I had a slice of that which actually only worked out to be 6pp! But what I was worried about was alcohol!! I don't drink very often any way so to be honest I don't really need much....But I did manage to put 5 Peach Melba cooler cocktails away, which I have to say would have been worth a weight gain as they were good!! For those of you who follow Weight Watchers you will know about the 49 weekly points you can have, now I personally don't feel they work for me (I'm not able to do much exercise so I think you need to be able to balance it out), but this week I used them all and I still lost, fingers crossed it doesn't catch up with me next week!
What are your tips for drinking whilst on a diet? Do you stick to spirits and soft drinks or do you have any cocktail secrets to share?
Hope you have all done well this week!
Stay Gorgeous
Grace xoxo
I just hit -5 stone too!! Congrats, I know how good it feels. I sometimes ask the people at the bar to substitute things in cocktails and make sure they use diet coke etc
